How to practise Chinese stroke order

Chinese characters are written one stroke at a time in a fixed order: generally top to bottom and left to right, horizontals before verticals when they cross, and enclosing boxes closed last. Following the same order every time makes your handwriting faster, neater and easier to remember.

On each worksheet the large model character shows the finished character with its stroke numbers. The cells after it build the character stroke by stroke (the newest stroke in red). Then trace the faded characters and copy the character into the blank cells.
